You may set a static IP address, if you wish, using one of the following methods:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <a href=\"#static_ip_using_web_interface\">Room Alert Monitor&#8217;s built-in web interface<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <a href=\"#static_ip_using_device_discovery\">AVTECH&#8217;s Device Discovery utility<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <a href=\"#static_ip_using_device_manager\">AVTECH&#8217;s Device ManageR software<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong><a class=\"wpsal-anchor\" name=\"static_ip_using_web_interface\" id=\"static_ip_using_web_interface\"><\/a><\/strong>Setting a Static IP using the Room Alert Monitor&#8217;s web interface<\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1. Open your Room Alert Monitor&#8217;s web interface. You may open the interface using Device Discovery or Device ManageR, or by typing the IP address of the unit directly into the address bar of your web browser.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2. Select\u00a0<strong>Use The Following IP\u00a0<\/strong><b>Configuration<\/b>. Then enter your static IP address information in the following fields:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">&#8211; IP Address<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">&#8211; Subnet Mask<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">&#8211; Default Gateway<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">&#8211; DNS Server<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">6. Select <strong>Accept Changes<\/strong> at the bottom of the page to temporarily save your settings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/AcceptChanges.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9131\" src=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/AcceptChanges.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"124\" height=\"31\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">7. Then select <strong>Save Changes<\/strong> in the navigation bar to the left. Open the Device Discovery utility. You may find it in your Windows system typically through the default path: C:\\Program Files\\AVTECH Device Discovery Utility.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2. Select <strong>Search<\/strong>. After a moment, your devices will populate the screen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3. Highlight your Room Alert by clicking on it once.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">4. Then select <strong>Set IP<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">5. Follow the on-screen prompts to set a static IP address.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">6. Once you&#8217;ve completed the last step, your unit will automatically reboot at the new IP address.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><a class=\"wpsal-anchor\" name=\"static_ip_using_device_manager\" id=\"static_ip_using_device_manager\"><\/a><\/strong>Setting a static IP address using Device ManageR<\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1. Open Device ManageR in your web browser. You may open it by entering &#8216;localhost:8080&#8217; or &#8216;&lt;IP address of host system&gt;:8080&#8217; in your browser&#8217;s address bar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2. Your devices will immediately populate the &#8216;Discovered Devices&#8217; list to the left.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3. Select your Room Alert from the Discovered Devices list in the navigation bar to the left.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">4. You will notice a small drop-down list below your device. Select <strong>Set IP Address<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">5. Follow the on-screen prompts to set a static IP address.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">6.
