Note: Only LEGACY <\/strong>Axis cameras\u2014or cameras running legacy firmware\u2014are compatible with RoomAlert.com. This feature does not support modern Axis firmware.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

In order for your compatible Axis camera<\/a> to push data to your account at RoomAlert.com<\/a>, it must have certain firmware and applications installed first. Types of camera pushes to your Room Alert Account<\/h3>\n

Your compatible Axis camera makes two types of pushes to your Room Alert Account: status update and motion detection.<\/p>\n

Status-update pushes<\/em> include basic information about your camera, such as its IP and MAC addresses.<\/p>\n

Motion-detection pushes<\/em> include an image from the camera triggered by motion detection, plus the same information you get in a status update.<\/p>\n

Conditions that trigger camera pushes to your Room Alert Account<\/h3>\n

1. When the camera reboots, it pushes a status update (no image included).<\/p>\n

2. When you manually restart the GoToMyDevices Push application through your camera’s web interface, the camera pushes a status update (no image included).<\/p>\n

Note: The name of the Image Push application will be updated in a future release.<\/em><\/p>\n

3. Once an hour after the last successful push, the camera pushes a status update (no image included).<\/p>\n

4. When the camera detects motion, it pushes images (plus the same information as a status update).<\/p>\n

– When you receive image pushes, you may at first see placeholder images that read “Processing,” as shown below:<\/p>\n

– These placeholders will fill in at approximately 5 minute intervals, when the images sync on the Room Alert Account.
