This FAQ details those conditions, and how to turn the push notifications on and off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If you receive a push notification from Room Alert App, it means that one or both of the following is true:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-3\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. In the Room Alert app, you are <strong>watching<\/strong> the alert conversation.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-cyan-bluish-gray-color has-text-color\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/RoomAlertsaid.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"width: 300px;\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, when you install the Room Alert App, your user profile is set to &#8220;watch&#8221; all alerts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means that you will receive push notifications for any alerts when&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Room Alert posts to the conversation in response to the alert triggering, clearing, or getting acknowledged.<\/li><li>Another user on the account posts to the alert conversation.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"su-accordion su-u-trim\"><div class=\"su-spoiler su-spoiler-style-fancy su-spoiler-icon-plus su-spoiler-closed\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\" data-anchor-in-url=\"no\"><div class=\"su-spoiler-title\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\"><span class=\"su-spoiler-icon\"><\/span>Manage Watch Status<\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler-content su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n\n\n\n<p>To watch or unwatch an alert&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Log in to the Room Alert App on your mobile device.<\/li><li>Click the ellipsis <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"93\" height=\"50\" class=\"wp-image-25924\" style=\"width: 30px;\" src=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/dotdotdot.png\" alt=\"\"> icon in the navigation bar at the bottom of the app.<\/li><li>Then click on <strong><em>Conversation Settings<\/em><\/strong>. <\/li><li>A full list of all of your organization&#8217;s alerts appears here.<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"564\" height=\"386\" class=\"wp-image-26033\" style=\"width: 350px;\" src=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/ConversationSettings_App.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/ConversationSettings_App.png 564w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/ConversationSettings_App-300x205.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 564px) 100vw, 564px\" \/><\/li><li>If you&#8217;re currently watching an alert, an eye <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"62\" height=\"49\" class=\"wp-image-25925\" style=\"width: 25px;\" src=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/eyeball.png\" alt=\"\"> icon appears beside it.<\/li><li>Click any alert to hide the icon and un-watch the alert&#8217;s conversation. <\/li><li>Use the <strong><em>watch all <\/em>|<em> watch none<\/em><\/strong> options at the top of the screen to make bulk changes.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"su-note\"  style=\"border-color:#bcc3cd;border-radius:5px;-moz-border-radius:5px;-webkit-border-radius:5px;\"><div class=\"su-note-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\" style=\"background-color:#D6DDE7;border-color:#ffffff;color:#305d8c;border-radius:5px;-moz-border-radius:5px;-webkit-border-radius:5px;\">\n\n\n\n<p>Look for more fine-tune settings\u2014like specifying the type of conversation activity you wish to be notified of, etc.\u2014in a future release of the Room Alert App.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>To avoid receiving duplicate notifications, we recommend un-watching any alerts that have been configured with a push notification action for your user profile.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. In RoomAlert.com, the alert has a push notification <strong>action<\/strong> tied to your user profile.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-cyan-bluish-gray-color has-text-color\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/RoomAlertApp_PushNotification1.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"width: 300px;\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may configure a push notification action on any alert in RoomAlert.com to send to any user on the account.
