By default, your Room Alert Monitor obtains an IP address automatically using DHCP. You may set a static IP address, if you wish, through the device’s built-in web interface. To do so, follow the steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. First, open the device’s web interface.
    You may do this by typing its IP address directly into your browser’s URL.

  2. Log In to the web interface and access the Settings<\/strong>.

  3. (On ‘S’ and ‘E’ models)<\/em><\/strong> Navigate to Settings<\/strong> \u2192 Network Settings<\/strong>.

    (On MAX Base Stations)<\/em><\/strong> Navigate to either Settings <\/strong>\u2192 Ethernet Settings<\/strong> or Wi-Fi Settings<\/strong>, depending on whether you wish to set a static IP on the device’s Wired or Wi-Fi network.

    • To set a static IP address on your Base Station’s connected Wi-Fi network, click on the network name at the top of the list. Then in the window that opens, click Make Changes<\/strong>.

    • In IP Configuration<\/em>, choose the manual option; this option is labeled either Use The Following IP Configuration<\/strong> or Manual (Static IP)<\/strong>.

    • Then enter your static IP address information in the following fields:\n

      • IP Address<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Subnet Mask<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Default Gateway<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • DNS Server IP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • When you’re done, select Save<\/strong> or Save Settings<\/strong>. Your Room Alert Monitor will reboot at the new IP address.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
