Our goal in doing so was to create the best possible platform for local or on-premises management of Room Alert monitors, sensors and accessories. We have received incredibly positive feedback from our Room Alert users regarding recent additions in Room Alert Manager such as<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/23134\/room-alert-manager-sensor-data-reporting\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Advanced Sensor Data and Reporting<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/23525\/guidance-features-room-alert-manager\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Threshold Ranges and Established Standards<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Now we are excited to announce that those features are coming to Room Alert Account!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><b>What Is New In Room Alert Account?<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/roomalert.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Room Alert Account<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is an online dashboard where users can easily manage all of their Room Alert monitors. From viewing a map of your registered devices to configuring custom alerts and utilizing our patented<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/11463\/announcing-monitor360-technology\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monitor360<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> technology, the Room Alert Account dashboard is the best online service for taking proactive environment monitoring to the next level. This includes the subcategories \u201cExplore\u201d and \u201cData Groups\u201d. This tab is coming directly from what users are already familiar with, so here customers can&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Easily browse a list of all your sensors in one place<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">View each sensor\u2019s current readings &amp; alarm status<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">View a list of alerts associated with each sensor, and quickly configure new alerts<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Graph historic sensor data to visually track trends in your environment&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When users first click on \u201cSensor Data and Reporting\u201d, an \u201cExplore Data\u201d page will appear. In the \u201cGraphed Data\u201d section of this tab, you\u2019ll be able to create graphs to visualize your sensor data. To fill out your graph, you can add sensors from the \u201cExplore Sensor Data\u201d section at the bottom of the page. This is where you will find a comprehensive list of all of the sensors that Room Alert has recorded. We have a variety of options available to help you filter this list to quickly find exactly what you need.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our top priority is always to continue improving user experience, and \u201cSensor Data and Reporting\u201d makes it extremely easy to find specific sensors. You can search your entire list of sensors by certain criteria such as sensor name, device or channel type. For example, if you are trying to find your<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/10309\/many-uses-active-power-sensor\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Digital Active Power Sensor w\/Temperature<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> but you aren\u2019t sure where it is, you can search \u201cActive Power\u201d under channel type. Or maybe you aren\u2019t sure of the type of sensor or device it is connected to, but you do know it is named after a certain data center location. You can search by sensor name by typing keywords such as \u201cData Center\u201d.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once you have populated your graph with the sensor data that is most important to you, you can \u201cCreate an alert from all graphed channels\u201d or \u201cSave as a Data Group\u201d. If you choose \u201cCreate an alert from all graphed channels\u201d, then you will be brought to a form to create an alert. To help users increase efficiency, the alert form will automatically be partially filled out based on all of the data in your graph. With the new \u201cCreate an alert from all graphed channels\u201d option, customers are able to save a lot of time if they are trying to create multiple thresholds on an alert without having to manually fill out the entire form. If you choose \u201cSave as a Data Group\u201d, then you are redirected to a \u201cData Groups\u201d tab where you can see a quick view of all of your data groups.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Guidance, Threshold Ranges &amp; Established Standards<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1-1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1-1-1024x851.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23722\" width=\"285\" height=\"237\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1-1-1024x851.png 1024w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1-1-300x249.png 300w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1-1-768x638.png 768w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1-1-1536x1276.png 1536w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1-1-2048x1702.png 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 285px) 100vw, 285px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Again pulling directly from what we have found to be successful in Room Alert Manager, we are incorporating guidance features such as threshold ranges and established standards in Room Alert Account. The guidance section is to help users follow recommendations and regulations from agencies such as NWS, ASHRAE &amp; OSHA. The \u201cGuidance\u201d section breaks down into \u201cThreshold Ranges\u201d and \u201cEstablished Standards\u201d subcategories.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under \u201cThreshold Ranges\u201d, users can define the exact range they want to maintain in their environment. Threshold ranges are beneficial when creating alerts and graph overlays. Users can choose from the following:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ASHRAE Data Center Temperature (Temperature Between 64\u00b0F and 81\u00b0F)\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ASHRAE Data Center Humidity (Humidity Between 20%RH and 80%RH)\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NWS Heat Index \u2013 Caution (HI above 80\u00b0F)\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NWS Heat Index \u2013 Extreme Caution (HI above 91\u00b0F)\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NWS Heat Index \u2013 Danger (HI above 103\u00b0F)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NWS Heat Index \u2013 Extreme Danger (HI above 125\u00b0F)\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If none of these options are suitable for your application, users can also define their own custom threshold ranges to be used in the same way. Before we had \u201cThreshold Ranges\u201d, Room Alert users needed to set a specific minimum and maximum in order to create a threshold range. Now, for example, you can simply configure your threshold range for if the temperature is above 75\u00b0F.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under \u201cEstablished Standards\u201d, users will see \u201cASHRAE \u2013 Data Center\u201d and \u201cNWS \u2013 Heat Index\u201d, with more options to come in the future. Threshold Ranges and Established Standards are designed to work together to help businesses and facilities keep track of how their work conditions compare to industry standards and recommendations. Understanding and following guidance regulations is now exceptionally easy in Room Alert Account.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new guidance features in Room Alert Account were designed to help provide users with a better understanding into their environment\u2019s conditions so that understanding environmental regulations, meeting industry standards, and ensuring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=UvavhLnHH9E\">employee safety<\/a> is as easy to follow as it possibly can be.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>We are proud of the massive team effort that went into developing all of these incredible new features in Room Alert Account.
