First open your Room Alert Monitor\u2019s web interface through one of Room Alert&#8217;s discovery utilities. You may also type the IP address of the unit directly into the address bar of your web browser.<\/p>\n<p>2. Notice that the drop-down\u00a0list in <em>Sensor Type<\/em>\u00a0defaults to <em>Temp\/Humidity<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; If you&#8217;re working with a Temperature &amp; Analog sensor, select\u00a0<strong>Temp\/Analog<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; If you&#8217;re working with Temperate &amp; Active Power sensor, select <strong>Temp\/Active\u00a0Power<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/TempActivePwr.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-12848\" src=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/TempActivePwr.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"161\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/TempActivePwr.png 613w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/TempActivePwr-300x120.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>6.\u00a0Select <strong>Save Settings<\/strong> at the top or bottom of the page. Your Room Alert Monitor will\u00a0automatically reboot and commit your changes.<\/p>\n<p>7. If you leave the Sensor Type set to <em>Temp\/Humidity,<\/em> you will not get an accurate humidity reading from these sensors.<\/div><\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
