Quiet times silence alert notifications during specific days or times.<\/p>\n<p>For example, if you only want to be notified of an alert outside of business hours, you can set quiet times from approximately 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-accordion su-u-trim\">\n<div class=\"su-spoiler su-spoiler-style-fancy su-spoiler-icon-plus su-spoiler-closed\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\" data-anchor-in-url=\"no\"><div class=\"su-spoiler-title\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\"><span class=\"su-spoiler-icon\"><\/span>Step 1: Open your alert's interface.<\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler-content su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n<p>Follow these steps to\u00a0open the alert&#8217;s interface:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1. Log in to your account at <a href=\"http:\/\/roomalert.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">RoomAlert.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><em>In order to edit parts of an alert, you must log in as an admin-level or operator-level user. For more information, please see the \u201cTypes of user roles\u201d section of our FAQ, <a href=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/23734\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">How To Manage User Access To Your RoomAlert.com Account<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2. Select <strong>Alerts<\/strong> from the navigation bar to the left.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3. In your <em>Alert List<\/em> tab, you&#8217;ll see a list of all of your configured alerts. First, place your cursor over an action to pull up the delete, edit, and test\u00a0icons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2. In our example, if the alert is triggered during business hours &#8212; let&#8217;s say Tuesday at 2:00 PM &#8212; we will not receive a notification.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">&#8211; The alert will still trigger and will be listed in the Alert History, but the action won&#8217;t send.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">&#8211; Please note that quiet times silence &#8220;triggered,'&#8221; &#8220;ongoing&#8221; and &#8220;clear&#8221; notifications.<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-note\"  style=\"border-color:#bcc3cd;border-radius:5px;-moz-border-radius:5px;-webkit-border-radius:5px;\"><div class=\"su-note-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\" style=\"background-color:#d6dde7;border-color:#ffffff;color:#305d8c;border-radius:5px;-moz-border-radius:5px;-webkit-border-radius:5px;\">Need to silence nighttime alerts?\u00a0One overnight period (which crosses midnight into the next morning) requires 2 separate quiet times. The first quiet time ends at 11:59 PM, and the second quiet time begins at 12:00 AM the next day.
