In Device ManageR, you may configure Light Tower actions to escalate in response to worsening conditions. For example, you may:<\/p>\n

– turn on the green LED when the temperature is within a safe range,<\/p>\n

– turn on the yellow LED as a warning when the temperature begins to climb,<\/p>\n

– and turn on the red LED when the temperature reaches a critical state. <\/p>\n

Before you can set up Light Tower actions in Device ManageR, you must first enable the Light Tower in your Room Alert Monitor’s web interface. For instructions, please see our FAQ, How To Enable Your External Light Tower Or Relay Switch In Your Room Alert Monitor<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you’d like one of the Light Tower LEDs to turn on before any alert is triggered, you must set an On Boot<\/strong> profile in the Room Alert web interface. Otherwise, all Light Tower LEDs will remain off until an alert is triggered.<\/span><\/div><\/div>\n

Follow the instructions below to escalate your Light Tower actions in Device ManageR.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Step 1: Set Up Light Tower Actions<\/div>
\n

First, create the necessary Toggle Light Tower actions in Device ManageR. For instructions, please see our FAQ, How To Configure A Light Tower Action In Device ManageR<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In our example, we’ve created light tower actions to meet the following conditions:<\/p>\n

– Green LED is on when the temperature is less than 75\u00b0F<\/p>\n

– Yellow LED is on when the temperature is between 75\u00b0F and 80\u00b0F<\/p>\n

– Red LED is on when the temperature is above 80\u00b0F<\/p>\n

This required a total of six toggle actions\u20141 to turn off each LED and 1 to turn on each LED\u2014as shown below.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Step 2: Group Light Tower Actions In Action\/Notification Lists<\/div>
\n

Once you\u2019ve saved your toggle actions, the next step is to put them in Action\/Notification Lists. For complete instructions, please see our FAQ, How To Configure Action\/Notification Lists In Device ManageR<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When you get to Step 6 in the FAQ, you’ll need to change the Perform the Action<\/em> setting to A maximum of 1 times<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Your completed Action\/Notification Lists may look look similar to the examples below when they are completed:<\/p>\n

Light Tower – Warning <\/strong>turns the Yellow LED on and the Green LED off when the alert is triggered. When the alert clears, the Yellow LED turns off and the Green LED turns on.<\/p>\n

Light Tower – Critical<\/strong> turns the Red LED on and the Yellow LED off when the alert is triggered. When the alert clears, the Red LED turns off and the Yellow LED turns on.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Step 3: Link Action\/Notification List With Alert<\/div>
